Unfortunately, Monday night at exactly the same time, Gracie and I were hit with a stomach bug, and poor Travis was left taking care of his two girls at 2 a.m. Thankfully, Gracie was fine and recovered very quickly, i however, became very dehydrated, and spent most of yesterday sleeping. Travis, thank goodness, was able to take off work and help take care of Gracie for the day. I knew that travis was not.... up to date with Gracie's eating and sleeping schedule, seeing as it changes monthly. Thankfully, Gracie was ready to keep him in line.
when you tell her "no" she shakes her head "no"in understanding. Travis was trying to figure out why she was fussy and with out thinking he began asking her what was wrong... is it time to eat ....shake shake.... is it time for a nap .....nothing .....when no reply came travis said he had nothing to loose, so he put her in the crib and she went straight to sleep....time wise he put her in the bed thirty minutes past her usual nap....does that girl stick to a schedule or what!!! Needless to say that once he realized that Gracie was able to tell him "no" on certain things it was a day full of yes and no questions..... I later found out (and found hilarious) that he got a lot of "shake, shake" when it was time to eat her vegetables, and squeals of joy when she got her puff snacks, and or course daddy fell for it!! Never trust an 8 month old :)

She's getting down right chunky. She'll be giving Reagan a run for her money before you know it! :)
