My Little Water Bug

As the previous Blog, you all know that we bought a small pool for Gracie to play in, but it's just the right size that Travis and I could also sit in it and play with her. Well, unfortunately we didn't go spend the day with Avery and Reagan (Reagan had to go to the Doctor), so we decided to go swimming instead.

I wasn't sure how she would like it, she didn't even notice i was lathering her fair skin in loads of sunscreen, to me that was a good sign! I put her in her first swim suit and we were off! I put her in the pool, and sat her in her tube. Oh, she was so excited she couldn't see straight... it was like a giant bath tub!! The pool is just deep enough that she can touch the bottom in her tube, so she would push her self around the pool giggling like I've never heard her before. She quickly learned to control where she was going in the float and learned how to get right up against the sides of the pool, then she would pull herself up and stand all by herself, complete with her prideful smile!

It's so amazing that such a small thing could excite and make my daughter so happy, and yet the joy it brought me was even greater just watching her!
