Yesterday was Naomi's Graduation, and boy was it a day!!! It did not help that i was in a bad mood for my own selfish reasons, but Dad was outside doing yard work and woke up a nest of yellow jackets, he was stung 8(ish) times and as he ran into the house he did not realize that a few extra angry yellow jackets followed him in and they quickly found my mother (whom by the way is really allergic to stings). Luckily they were able to find some benedryl and outside of some swelling and soreness they are okay today....but not so great through Naomi's ceremony.
Naomi, thankfully, even though grandpa was not able to attend, she still smiled and you could tell how excited she was to finally be rid of Willis High (can't say that i blame her). The ceremony was quite short compared to others i have been to and i actually enjoyed the speeches, and i pridefully stood up (along with parents, travis, and keana) and yelled as loud as i could when Naomi's name was called, it was not until the end when naomi changed her tassel (not plume as i kept calling it) to the other side that i began to cry, because my little sister was suddenly not so little anymore.
