Travis went to Lufkin for the weekend for his yearly camp-out with his guy friends, so from Friday to Sunday night it was just me and Gracie. Friday night we went to the willis football game, but i mainly went to see the joint halftime show where Willis and Huntsville preformed together and then Willis High school and Junior highs preformed their patriotic show...so it was quite eventful, but o so cool. Gracie was like any girl she mainly ignored the football stuff, but when it came to halftime she was bouncing and clapping along with the music... i feel i have a little band nerd on my hands lol.
I was kind of slow in thinking so this is the only photo i got of the the show....where the willis schools are doing the traditional halftime show....random, but i remember my freshman year when we did this there was a big gap in the bottom of the "U" so instead of USA it was LISA.... we got a lot of requests to spell out other names...needless to say the directors didn't let it happen again.
Saturday, Gracie and I went with mom to a wedding shower of family friends, and then we went to the mall and Gracie got her first pair of tennis shoes... When the saleslady put them on her, she took off running...i now have lost all hope of rest!!! But she wore her new shoes today to church, along with her bells so i can keep track of her.
