God truly did bless us this week, while we were in fort worth. We were becoming really frustrated because everything we looked at was either way out of our price range, or didn't look very safe. We went into Southern oaks, on the south west side of Fort Worth, we automatically knew it was going to be too much, between it being a gated complex, it had a beautiful pool, and exercises room, plus it is in a nice area. But low and behold, they happened to be having a 'special' and we were able to rent a two bedroom with vinyl wood floors inside, along with other up grades for the same price as some of the one bedrooms we looked at in Arlington. The biggest part for me that said it was a God-send was that the previous tenants had just moved out the night before. It was like everything was falling in to place just for us!!
They called us yesterday to let us know that our credit, etc. all looked great! So we are on our way. We will officially move in next Friday, the 22nd. Mom and dad, have been such a great help in this, they agreed to watch Gracie during next weekend so we can get everything in place with out little curious hands being everywhere.
Travis and i are so excited about it. It's a little bigger than where we live now, and the driving distance will be the same for Travis and i... 20 minutes for him and 30 for me to Uta. The features above are great!! Plus, the Complex is right off the main road that goes through town (you could walk to any store you need!!!), but our unit is at the very back, so you can't hear the traffic, except for emergency sirens that pass by. There is also about 40 acres of brush that boarder the back of the complex, that is used as a bird habitat, and our bottom apartment looks towards it, so for us it's a piece of country in the city. Plus right outside our door is an area of grass where Gracie can go play ball and ride her cars.
