Pre Christmas Events

The past couple of Weeks, has truly felt like Christmas. When it snowed we had so much fun, except for Travis, who was sick with that stomach bug that was going around. But Naomi and i turned into little kids again, we scraped the snow off of the cars and trough snow balls at each other, Gracie thought it was HILARIOUS to see her momma getting hit with snow. Naomi was even able to make a snow man, or something like it. It was really neat getting to have a 'white' Christmas, at least by Southeast Texas standards. Gracie had fun playing in the small piles of snow until, a stray snow ball hit her straight in the face, and then that was the end of that!! It was such a great memory for this years Christmas!!

Last Saturday, was the Willis Christmas Parade, and it was really nice, considering they haven't had one in three years!! Gracie had fun waving at the cars and people....at least the first three floats anyway. She quickly realized that it was not normal to get this many people's attention...even for her standards, and sunk into her Gramie's lap and quietly watched the show. I thought the theme was neat, it was "Home for the Holidays" but it was in regards to the soldiers so there was a mix of Christmas and military themed floats.

I am so excited about Christmas this year, it's our first year to have our own family Christmas morning...last year i was still in the sleepless newborn stage to even care, so it'll be fun seeing Travis' family and my family all in a two day period. Oh, and the picture above is our Christmas photo taken at the outlet mall...not a bad bunch if i do say so myself!!!

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
