Sunday night we threw a small party for Gracie's first birthday. Mainly it was family and my friend keana and her daughters (and gracie's playmates). Gracie had fun playing with Reagan and Avery since she can now walk and keep up with them. even though it's not a large house it WAS crowded but that made it more fun to me.
As Travis says, "Gracie made out like a bandit" she got SO many things, enough new clothes to do a whole load of laundry (one of the perks to having an aunt that works at a baby clothing store), she got a lot of new toys. And i have to say
that cake is her new favorite meal...she went at it like a crazy person, and was absolutely covered in icing.
It stunk that we had to have the party kind of later in the evening so that everyone would be home from work, but because of that Gracie was kind of gumpy, but i can't say i blame her. She was so tired the next day she fell asleep in her high chair while eating her cherios.
